Webinar-Tutorial MEMS Technologies and Applications

Webinar about MEMS technology, its design and its fabrication process in academic and research institutions.

 

Speaker:

Dr. Veda Sandeep Nagaraja, PhD

Dr. Veda has over 17 years of experience. She completed her PhD in " Design, Implementation and Characterization of a Biologically inspired MEMS Directional Microphone" from University of Mysore, India. Over the past decade she coordinated 4 MEMS community chip (MPW) activities in India. She has several papers and has filed two patents.  She has had several international collaborations with academia and industries.  Currently Dr.Veda is the programme manager for PiezoMEMS service at Tyndall National Institute, Ireland and is working in PiezoMEMS domain as a senior scientist. 

 

The webinar is open and free, and is scheduled as a part of the Master course "Electronic, Photonic and Electro-Optical Devices", Master in Electronics System Engineering, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (https://www.uc3m.es/master/electronic-systems). This event is hybrid.

The webinar was very succesfull, about 20 Master students attended the tutorial in the classrrom while around 10 Master students, 40 PhD students and 10 professors attended the webinar on BlackBoard Collaborate.

 

Prof. Isabel Pérez, coordinator of the Master course, participated also in the event.
